

Denise Ann Chamberlin, 72, of Clinton passed away unexpectedly Easter morning on April 9th, at her brothers residence following surgery. Denise, also known as Mimi by those closest to her. She was born September 21st, 1950 in Mt. Kisco, New York to James Wallace Ruberg and Arletta Dorothy Ruberg.
Denise was a successful cosmetologist and business-owner, who owned and operated a number of beauty salons in Pawling, New York and West Palm Beach, Florida. Mimi enjoyed an adventurous life between New York and Florida, and in her later years, spending time between Conneticut and West Virginia.
She was a grandmother to many including the children in her family, extended family, and many of the children in her life. Denise had a very kind, caring, and giving personality. Her love of baking was contagious, especially during the holidays. She always wanted to spend time with family - to share memories and experiences together and was usually accompanied by her grandchildren or grandnieces.
She loved gardening, home-design, adventuring and traveling, building puzzles, crosswording, and was an avid player of Animal Crossing and Mario Kart. She was also talented at various handicrafts, such as crocheting and macramé. Mimi also loved animals and kept a variety of pets throughout her life, favoring birds and dogs.
Her daughter, Arlettie Anne Arvisais, who she loved dearly predeceased her on June 30th, 2015. She is survived and will be dearly missed by: Her brother Alanson Ruberg; Her nephew Kyle Ruberg and his wife Terri Ruberg; Her Grandnieces Zoe and Kaylin Ruberg; Her Grandchildren Victoria Arvisais and Cody Fulce; Her dogs Honey Rose and Angel. Her dear friends Jody, Magda Szydlowski, Jennifer Perricelli, James Edwards, Daniel Highkin, Eileen and Gene Arvisais and Lisa Grenier
