She was born on March 23, 1953 in Middletown, the daughter of Genario Dagrosa and Loretta, and was raised in Old Saybrook by her mother Loretta and Charles Selicious. She spent most of her life living along the shoreline. She worked at for Stop and Shop for many years. She was a loving sister, mother and grandmother.
She was predeceased by her sister Darlene Coogan and her son Jeffrey Swain. She is survived by her siblings Jerry Dagrosa, Michelle Saam, Michael Selicious and Kali Smith. She is also survived by her daughters Nikole Dagrosa of New London, Shani DeCoster of New London, Jennifer Bailey of Middletown and Merry Swain of Florida,her 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren with two more on the way. Donna was loved by many and will be missed by many.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 21st from 5-7pm at Swan Funeral Home, 80 E. Main St., Clinton. She had a special love for animals so the family is asking that in lieu of flowers donations in Donna's memory be made to the humane society.
