Dear Cousin Bill,
When I received the news of Jeanne's passing my heart skipped several beats. She was among the truly wonderful people on this planet. You always knew where you stood with her; it was simply not in her DNA to pretend or to suffer fools. She was genuine in all she. did, and she did a lot. You and she raised a strong family of fine people amongst two generations under your roof. She loved them all and you especially as her partner in life. Your souls connected the day you saved her from drowning. I believe that souls are immortal and those she loved and loved her are still connected. While you suffer her loss call on me if you need anything. Jim

I’m so very sorry for this tragic and monumental loss to your family. Jeanne was a mentor and friend during our years together in the pharmacy. Jeanne guided me during pregnancy and said “ that’s normal “ no matter what my nervous concerns were. She was definitely an expert after raising 6 amazing children!
She visited me when my son was born and was so calming and knowledgeable.
My deepest sympathy to you all.
Love, Liz

To Bill and the Lofgren clan,
I was shocked and so very saddened to learn of Jeanne's passing. I will always remember her genuine laugh, her wonderful hugs, and her honesty. I once told Jeanne that she was my inspiration for how one should live life and raise a family: with humor, with strength, with fierce protectiveness, and with complete and unconditional acceptance and love. I will surely miss her. May your memories hold you up during this difficult time.
Thinking of you all and sending my love,
Doris Ash ("Aunt Doris")

The best Mom a kid could ask for - as I grow older I keep realizing more and more just how special and strong you were. I’m so grateful for you, and for the bond we shared. I only wish we had more time together. I’ll carry on what you taught me and the way you lived. Forever in my heart.

When I was a little kid, I used to tell her that I wouldn't trade her for anything in the world, now I'd trade the whole world for her. She taught me so much, how to love, never to give up, what to fight for and when, and what a family really is. I could never give her what she gave me but I love her so dearly and will carry her in my heart to the last beat.
