Jeffrey Alyn Vincelette, 59, a lifelong resident of Clinton, CT gained a new residence on 7/10/18. He lived victoriously on this earth through the power of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and is now a resident of Heaven eternally.
Jeff was born on September 28, 1958 in Middletown, CT to Barbara (Clark) Vincelette and Robert Leo Vincelette. Jeff loved growing up in Clinton with his parents and 3 brothers Bob, Bill and Tom. He fondly talked about memories of his parents building their home on Fish Plain Rd: growing up in the woods, riding bikes, playing outside, camping and all the things boys love to do. He loved spending time in the summer at his Uncle Ame's cabin in Vermont and taking camping trips and cross-country trips with his parents as they attended American Legion conventions. When they grew to be teenagers Jeff and his brothers loved cars. A lot of cars. Fast cars. That love neved ended for Jeff. He is a graduate of The Morgan School in Clinton.
Jeff was ALWAYS a hard worker. He started working as a boy delivering newspapers. He worked many odd jobs growing up. It's what he loved to do. He began working for Finast Supermarkets at age 16 and was a full time produce manager by age 18. He met his future wife Pat(Patricia Spencer) at the Guilford Finast Supermarket in June of 1981. He worked for Finast and many other Supermarkets as a Produce Manager. In the mid-1990s, Jeff left the Supermarket industry to work with his brother Bill at Clinton Auto Repair Shop as the Service Manager. He loved working alongside his brother. After Bill's passing in 2003, Jeff worked at Clinton Auto Repair determined to honor his brother and keep his business thriving. He worked there until 2008. Jeff also owned his own car detailing business, Classic Detailing.
Jeff and Pat began dating in 1981 and were married on August 11, 1984. They did not have a perfect marriage as no one does, but it became a quest to be perfected in the Lord in 1992 when they both accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Jeff and Pat excitedly welcomed the birth of their sons Spencer in 1988 and Alex in 1990. Jeff loved his sons and modeled for them his steadfast work ethic daily. He was so proud of each of them. He loved all of his family including his nieces and nephews as his own children. In 2011, there was a robbery. Jeff's heart was stolen by a little girl, Sophia Alayna Vincelette, his first grandchild. Suddenly this man who had never had sisters or daughters was a grandpa of girls. He loved his girls! Sophia and her sister Savannah were the glimmer in his eyes, the smile on his face, the beat of his heart.
Jeff was loved by so many and was a friend to all. His family grew to include countless brothers and sisters in Christ at Clinton Bible Fellowship(formerly Church of the Open Door). He served at Clinton Bible Fellowship in many roles but his favorite was a Teen leader for many years. Affectionately known as Mr. V, he gained many sons and daughters in Christ. In recent years he loved being a greeter and usher at church. Most Sundays he was at the entrance with a smile, a handshake and a hug with a greeting of Love You brother(sister).
Jeff is survived by his loving wife and best friend Pat(Patricia Kay Spencer), sons Spencer Alyn and his wife Ashley(Daniel) of LaGrange, OH, and Alexander Jeffrey of Nashville, TN, "daughter" Krystal Colon Vincelette of Bristol, CT, and granddaughters Sophia Alayna, Savannah Grace, and Julia Hope(due August 2018). He is also survived by his mother Barbara Clark Vincelette of Madison, stepmother Jeanette Vincelette of Clinton, mother in law Mildred Spencer of Madison, brothers Robert Leo Vincelette, Jr(Barbara Menzies Vincelette) and Thomas Carl Vincelette, sister in law Nancy Bell Vincelette, all of Clinton, sister in law Deborah Spencer Edwards(Thomas V. Edwards, Jr.) of Doylestown, PA and brother in law Scott Spencer of Madison, CT, stepsiblings James Hull(Carol Hull), Donald Hull, Catherine Stanley Parmelee(Donald Parmalee), Vincelette nephews and nieces Shane(Kimberley), Erik(Jennifer), Troy, Richard(Rebecca), Daniel, Nicole and Melissa, Edwards nephews and niece Thomas III, Patrick, and Caitlin, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and so so many friends and caregivers who became friends.

Advice from Jeff:
1. Don't touch the car or run your hand along it: you'll scratch the clearcoat.
2. You can never have too many screwdrivers, flashlights, Coca Cola Memorabilia, Vinyl albums, Dunkin Donuts travel mugs.
3. It is what it is. The Lord is over it all. Trust Him and don't sweat the small stuff.
