He is survived by his wife Mary Jane Jennings Rhodes (formerly of Clinton), his sons Troy, Jason, and Nathaniel; his daughter Sarah; his grandchildren Logan, Ryan, Sierra, and Elena; his sister Vanessa Swartzbaugh; his sister-in-law Melissa Spencer; his sons' spouses Isabella Rhodes, Vincent Fuentes, and Wendy Wurtzel; his nieces Stephanie, Lindsey Swartzbaugh, and Lauren Robertson; his nephews Chris Swartzbaugh and Tyler Rhodes, and his five grandnieces and grandnephews.
He was predeceased by his parents James and Ernestine; his brother Clinton; his in-laws Cliff and Caroline; and his brother-in-law Raymond Jennings.
A memorial service is scheduled for Monday September 21 at 12 pm at Swan Funeral Home, 80 E. Main St., Clinton. Burial will follow at 1 pm at Indian River Cemetery in Clinton.
