John Francis Belanger

He was born on November 2, 1966, in New Haven, the beloved husband of Dianne (Pepe) and loving Father of Amanda Belanger.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his Mother Sharon Belanger of Hamden and the late Richard Belanger of Florida; Son in law of Clara and the late Louis Pepe of Branford. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. John was especially close to his cousins Donald Guenther Jr. (Valentina) of Durham, Anne Lenoce (Paul) of Cheshire, and Clovis Belanger of Meriden; and his uncles Stephen Collins of North Haven, and Donald Guenther Sr. of Cheshire. In addition, brother-in-laws Richard Pepe (Kristin) of S. Kingstown, RI and Gary Pepe (Linda) of E. Haven, and sister-in-law Valerie Pepe of Branford. He was also predeceased by his brother-in-law David Pepe.

John was a long time employee at George Ellis, Co., in West Haven as a HVAC Specialist and was very knowledgeable in his field. He enjoyed mentoring others and also volunteered at Skills USA.

One of his favorite activities was coaching and practicing softball with his daughter Amanda.

John was a loving devoted husband, father, and son. He was a kind hearted, hard working man whom will be greatly missed.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday December 23rd from 10-11am in St. Lawrence Church, 7 Hemlock Dr., Killingworth. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin in church at 11am.
