

Leon Willis Wilson, aged 87, passed away on Sept. 27, 2025, in New London, CT. Leon was born in Sanford, ME to Willis M. Wilson and Virginia Collins on Nov. 3, 1937. He was raised in Alfred, ME by his great grandparents Leon Hayes and Alice Mary Willis.
Leon lived in the Framingham, MA area for most of his adult life. He had the perfect personality to work as a sales rep for companies such as Klein Tools, A.A. McPherson, and had his own business, Regional Reps. He was a Hopkinton, MA school committee member. In his later years he became a driver for Tommy’s Taxi in Framingham. Oh, the adventures he had and stories he could tell.
Leon lived a full and enriched life surrounded by his loving family. Leon was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Teresa Brown and his brothers, Peter John and Douglas Wilson, as well as his former wife, Thelma Tufts.
He leaves behind a legacy through his children, Linda Santamaria of Palm Bay, FL, Steven (Bettyjean) Wilson of San Diego, CA, Gail Lane (Charlie) of Westbrook, ME, Mark Wilson of Oswego, NY, Donna Beavis (George) of North Haven, CT and Wendy Wilson (Anthony) of Framingham, MA, stepchildren Marjory Tandy-Young (Stephen) of Pensacola, FL, Donald (Becki) Brown of Westhampton, MA and Katrina Brown of Pittsfield, MA, 20 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He also leaves behind sisters Audrey Shafer of Miami, FL and Deborah Anderson of Northbridge, MA, as well as his Aunt Nancy Warner of Utah and Uncle James Hubener of FL and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Special thanks to granddaughter Sarah Archer for going above and beyond in Leon’s time of need.
Leon will be remembered for his quick wit and his endless supply of “dad” jokes.
A memorial service celebrating Leon’s life will be planned for a future date.
