He was born on November 9, 1940, in Danbury, the son of Antonio Aires and Louise Rodrigues.
Manuel was formerly employed as a marketing manager with SNET.
He is survived by his wife Merryl Gomberg Rodrigues; children Rebeccah Rodrigues-Metlen and Joshua Aires Rodrigues; grandchildren Mollie and Liam Metlen and Olivia Rodrigues; and sisters Anne Rodrigues, Joan Minahan, and Linda Nichols.
