Mary Rosann Anderson

Mary Rosann Anderson, formerly of Salisbury, Maryland, passed away at Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford, CT on October 23, 2025 at the age of 90. She was born on March 11, 1935 in Baltimore, the daughter of Charles and Emma (Quasny) Jericek.

Rosann was a graduate of Eastern High School in Baltimore, and graduated from the University of Maryland School of Nursing with a nursing degree in June, 1956. She was the first person in her family to graduate from college. She then worked as a Nurse in Baltimore City prior to relocating to Salisbury.

She had a life-long love of needle work--embroidery, cross-stitch, sewing, knitting, and was a member of the Chesapeake Chapter of the Embroiders’ Guild of America.

During her time living in Salisbury she was also active in the Junior Board Shop of TidalHealth (formerly PRMC), and the Altar Guild at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.

Rosann spent summers with her family enjoying their second home in Ocean City.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter C. (Bud) Anderson, and her sister, Dorothy (Jericek) Demboski, and is survived by her daughter, Beth (Bill Cunningham) Anderson.

The family would like to thank Masonicare, Wallingford, CT for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in her final days.

Burial will be private.
