Patricia I Harris

Patricia I. Harris, 78, wife of Frederick Harris, passed away on July 19th at Tidewell Arcadia Hospice House, in Arcadia, FL. She was born on January 6, 1937 in Jackson Heights, NY, daughter of the late Blanche (Fago) and Alexander Hodges. Patricia resided in Clinton for forty three years, being a snow bird for the past ten years in Arcadia, FL. She graduated from Great Neck High School in Long Island, NY and attended Katharine Gibbs College graduating with a degree in Secretarial. Mrs. Harris was employed by US Motors in the 1950’s, an aide for the Clinton School system, and retired after eighteen years from Chesebrough Ponds. Patricia taught religious education for St. Mary’s at home for several years. Besides her husband, of 58 years, she is survived by her daughter, Cathleen Harris, her son Frederick Harris Jr., her sister Cathleen Trainor, four grandchildren; Ashley, Patrick, Neil, Matthew, and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on September 19th at Swan Funeral Home 80 E. Main St. Clinton from 10am-1pm, burial will be private.
