Paul Gagne

Paul F. Gagne, age 71, of Youngsville, North Carolina passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. He has been the beloved husband of Donna (Peck) Gagne for 48 years. Paul was born on March 24, 1955 in Cheshire, Connecticut, to parents Wilfred and Dorothy (Peete) Gagne.

In addition to his wife Donna, he is survived by his four children Kathy Palmisano (Andrew) of Raleigh, North Carolina, Jeremy Gagne (Erin Dwyer) of Wallingford, Connecticut, Scott Gagne (Laura) of Northford, Connecticut, Stephanie Kelley (Adam) of Wallingford, Connecticut and step-son Marc Weiser (Jessica) of Cary, North Carolina. He leaves eight cherished grandchildren: Mason and Wyatt, Jeremy Jr. and Olive, Nathan and Maren, and Andrew and Addison.

Paul is also survived by two brothers, George (Sherry) and Mark (Cathy), two sisters, Anne Ginnow (Wayne) and Louise Chiaraglia (late husband Vinny) along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, David and Peter (Jan) Gagne.

Paul was a hard working man that could fix just about anything. He had a passion for cars and spent most of his adult life working as a professional automobile mechanic. He worked for the Town of Stratford as a mechanic for 25 years before he retired in 2015.

Paul always dreamed of moving away from the cold weather of the Northeast. After retirement, he was able to fulfill that dream and moved with Donna to North Carolina where they enjoyed the lack of snow, camping in their RV, and spending time with their family in the area. Paul’s family was his pride and joy. He was a loyal friend to many, he could tell you stories for days, and he always loved a good Nascar race.

A private celebration of life party will be hosted by Paul’s immediate family.
