He was born on July 11, 1952, in Hartford, the son of Ed and Virginia Berry.
He was a life long painter across the shoreline and enjoyed buying collectables, going to auctions and spending time by the water.
Philip is survived by his daughter Jenna Berry of Clinton; his brother Ned Berry and his wife Carol; niece Heather Goukler, her husband Rick and their children Rachel, Grace, Davis and Luke; and many good friends.
