Ralph worked as a mechanic for most of his life and loved to build model cars and would attend many car shows. Ralph enjoyed a good puzzle and recently started working in his vegetable garden. Ralph most enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence & Margaret (Rutty) and his beloved son Jeffery Swain.
He is survived by his children Candy Swain of Moodus, Connecticut, Ralph Swain Jr. of Branford, Connecticut, Don Swain of Chester, Connecticut, Jennifer Bailey of Dunlap, Tennessee, and Merry Swain of Dunnellon, Florida, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Billy Swain, Debbie Swain, Terry Swain Crowley, and Cheryl Hall.
Family and friends will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date and time.
