He was born on September 27, 1942, in New Haven, the son of the late Archibald and Eileen Montgomery.
Mr. Montgomery was employed at Yale University for 43 years. He enjoyed golfing, boating, fishing and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife Bernice; his children John of Virginia, Lisa Marie of Plainville, and David of Haddam; his brothers, John of Vero Beach, FL, and Robert of Cheshire; and his grandchildren Aaron, Aiden, and Madison Montgomery.
