Robert Anthony Farace Sr.

Robert Anthony Farace Sr. passed away Saturday April 18, 2015 surrounded by his family at Middlesex Hospital after a short illness. Beloved husband of Cynthia (Harris) Farace.

Possessed of a mischievous sense of humor, incurable Mopar man, severely incompetent cook, and sartorially challenged. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping and could be sent into a paroxysm of ecstasy by a particularly tasty artichoke. He hated anchovies, but adored his family, and loved regaling all who would listen with the tall tale of when Tina, his Maltipoo, successfully faced off against a Rottweiler. Most of all, Bob wanted all of us to keep smiling

Besides his wife of 59 years, he survived by his children Robert Farace Jr. (lorain), Lori Martindale (Harry) both of Clinton and Kevin Farace (Julie) of Cranford, NJ. Bob is also survived by grandchildren Rachael(Pedro), Rebecca, Melissa, Noah, Sydney, Kylie and Nico, step-grandchildren Harry(Michelle), Kevin, and Nicholas, great-grandchild Tierra, brother William Farace (Gheng) and sister Marie Campbell (Victor). He is predeceased by his brother Richard Farace and daughter Karen Farace.

Family and friends may call at the Swan Funeral Home, 80E Main St. Clinton (Today) April 20, Monday from 6 to 8. Funeral services will be Tuesday April 21, at 1pm at the Swan Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Indian River Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Clinton Fire Dept. and Ambulance Fund, East Main St. Clinton CT 06413.
