Ronald P. Mones Sr.
April 18, 1941 – August 4, 2018
Ronald P. Mones Sr., 77, a longtime resident of Clinton, CT passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2018. He leaves behind his wife, Sharon of 41 years, his three children; Ronald P. Mones Jr. (Kathleen), Brandon M. Mones (Sarah), and Cynthia S. Mones. Four grandchildren; Molly, Madelyn, Sadie and Colten Mones. Ron is survived by his younger sister Emilie Mones. He was pre-deceased by his parents Max and Amelia Mones and brother Max Mones.
Ron was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was born in Bridgeport and grew up in Fairfield before settling in Clinton. He started his own company, RPM Inc. in 1979 and his business continues today with the help of his eldest son. Ron loved skiing with his three children, spending time with his grandchildren, cruising in his Corvette and building model trains. He was a lover of animals, especially his trusted grand-dog Tre’. He enjoyed watching the NY Giants and UCONN basketball games. He was selfless in his willingness to help others.
A Memorial service will take place Saturday, August 11th at 11AM at the Congregational Church in Killingworth UCC, 273 Higganum Rd. (RT 81) Killingworth, CT. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ron’s name may be made to: the Clinton Police K9 unit.

My name is Andrew Kennedy. Ronnie and I went to St. Ann's School in Bridgeport and we both attended the 50th anniversary celebration. I also saw Ronnie at his brother Max's wake. I am truly sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences to all of you. He truly was a good man!

Ron Sr (Old Man) Thank you for all you did for me! I really enjoyed my time when I was around you! Thanks for always fixing my broken stuff and taking the time to talk with me! I really looked up to you and you're values. One thing I loved about you is when we talked, you were always present... I sure will miss you buddy! God Bless My Friend !!
