

Salvatore R. Cerruto of Clinton, formerly of Rockville Centre, NY, husband of Barbara Coronis Cerruto, passed away on September 21, 2015. He was born in NYC on May 5, 1932. He attended Cardinal Hayes High School and Pace University and worked as a trader on Wall Street. He proudly served as a sergeant in the Korean War. Sal was a resident of Clinton for 16 years formerly living in Rockville Centre, NY for over thirty years where he and Barbara raised their four daughters. He enjoyed traveling , playing golf, gardening, and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Barbara, daughters Dana Cooney, Lisa Cancro, Gina Cerruto, and Audra Cerruto. His ten grandchildren Alexandra, Spencer, Olivia, Alanna, Emma, Hannah, Abigail, Nicolino, Paolo and Marco will miss him dearly. A Funeral Mass will be held in his honor, Thursday September 24, 2015 at St Mary’s Church on Grove St. in Clinton CT. Swan Funeral Home of Clinton are handling the arrangements for the family.
