Thory Heye

Thory Heye passed away unexpectedly at his home in Clinton, CT on Sunday May 21, 2017 at the age of 70. Thory is survived by Marilyn Hintz Heye, his loving wife of 39 years; sisters Leslie Quarrier, Jocelyn Heye, and Cynthia Hopkins; daughters Heather Heye and Ashley Heye Watson, Ashley’s husband Adam and their son Hunter. Thory is predeceased by his father, Carl W. Heye, and his mother, Cynthia Harbison Heye. He graduated from Wilbraham and Monson Academy and then Rockford College. He was well known for his thriftiness and knowledge to repair almost anything. He was a well-rounded entrepreneur, with a love of buying and selling things. He was a licensed auctioneer who most recently worked for several local storage facilities. He was kind and always willing to lend a hand when needed. He will be greatly missed by friends and family. We will forever cherish his memory.

A memorial service will be held at The United Methodist Church of Clinton (12 Commerce St, Clinton, CT (860)669-8396) this Saturday May 27th at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, we are asking that a donation be made in his name to Wilbraham and Monson Academy, Rockford College, or the charity of your choosing.
