

William K. Belcher (Bill) born February 28th, 1948 in Coral Gables, FL, later becoming a lifelong resident of Clinton, CT. Be-loved husband, father, and grandfather, he passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones, after battling a year long, rare form of cancer.
Bill graduated high school from The Morgan School, he served in the Army in Vietnam from 1967-1968. He went into real estate where he became Broker and Owner of Lively Real Estate in Clinton, CT, later working with Berkshire Hathaway in Madison, CT.
Bill had accomplished so much in his 75 years, Treasurer, Kelsey Kindred Treasurer (40 years), Elks Club member (54 years), VFW member and American Legion member, later becoming Commander of the American Legion for a few years.
Bill loved motorcycle riding, boating, traveling, spending time with his family and in his yard making beautiful displays of flowers, plants and bird feeders, for all to enjoy and playing with his granddaughter Skye. He was very patriotic, loved being at the American Legion and VFW, he also loved his “Friday lunches” with the guys eating at the Elks Club, his Patriots Football and Boston Red Sox.
He is survived by his wife Anita (married 5/20/78), daughter April, his beloved granddaughter Skye. His sisters Lynn Tendler and Trudy Valenti, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws and many, many other family members. He was predeceased by his parents, Shirley and Henry Belcher and his 3rd sister, Alice.
His wake will be held November 17th, at Swan Funeral Home in Clinton, CT, calling hours are 4-7pm. There will be a private burial, family only at the Indian River Cemetery in Clinton, CT. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the Clinton CT American Legion Hall and/or St. Jude’s.
He requested to have a Celebration of Life, to be held at the American Legion Hall in Clinton, CT in March 2024.
