

Anne Martin Campbell, 81, died Saturday January 18, 2014 at her home in Big Canoe, Georgia. Visitation will be 5-7pm Monday at Wright and Ferguson funeral home in Clinton and 1pm Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Clinton. Services will be at 2pm Tuesday at the church with burial to follow in Clinton Cemetery.
A Mississippi native, Anne graduated from Georgetown High School and Mississippi College. For more than 50 years she was deeply involved in the life of Mississippi College, First Baptist Church, and the Clinton community. For the last three years she was very active in Big Canoe Chapel and community. Anne was well known for her open-hearted hospitality, her vivacious energy and her strong faith in God. She loved to host events and to help those in need.
Anne is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Charles E. Martin, parents Henry and Frances Armstrong, and sisters Pauline Morse, Helen Wright and Ruby Armstrong.
Anne is survived by her husband Terry Campbell of Big Canoe, Georgia, children and spouses Carol Anne and Michael Beane of Bartlett, Tennessee, Jim and Renee’ Martin of Clinton, and Elaine Barber of Austin, Texas, grandchildren and spouses Hedda and Noe Elias, Allison and Jared Vieth, Emily and Seth Cheatham, Jared Beane, Wells Barber, Ryan Martin, Jessica and Bill Lehmann, Warren Beane, Rob Bradfield, and great-grandchildren Nina Simone, Abbi and Tabitha.
