

A memorial service will take place at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Cathedral in Jackson, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.
Born in Alabama on November 22, 1945, Jerry attended Livingston State University and lived in Tuscaloosa before moving to Mississippi. He served in management roles in the car business for 35 years before retirement. He was married to Ruth King Frost for 21 years and lived in Vicksburg and Clinton. Jerry was a beloved husband, father, stepfather, and grandfather, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
His wife, Phyllis Holderfield Frost, parents, Joel Benton and Ola Jackson Frost, and siblings, Thomas Dunn and Thelma Dunn Hathcoat, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife Ruth King Frost, daughter Tiffany Frost Phillips, son Jerry (Sally) Frost, Jr., stepsons David (Michelle) and Jason (Monica) Pharr, and eight grandchildren and step-grandchildren, Tyler, Hannah, and Matthew Phillips, Katie Frost, and Rhodes, Elle, Jackson and Oliver Pharr.
The family wishes to thank Drs. Justin Baker, Anthony Petro, and the Hederman Cancer Center at Baptist for outstanding care provided during his long battle with cancer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Baptist Health Foundation or Hospice Ministries.
