Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday in the Canton City Cemetery.
A native of Hattiesburg, Laverne moved to Jackson in 1970. She was a member of Mains St. Baptist Church in Hattiesburg. For many years she was a Sales Clerk at Gayfers Department Store in Jackson.
Survivors include her daughter Dianne Taylor (Paul) of Clinton; grandson Daniel Taylor and one great- grandson Riley Taylor.
