

After coming to Mississippi with Union Banker Insurance Company, he later worked for the Mississippi Medicaid Commission, owner of the Jackson Wrecking Company, and later joined the Mississippi Army National Guard where he was a Recruiter. Ron had 27 years of Military Service altogether and was a Vietnam Vet. After retiring from the National Guard, he went to work for his longtime friend, Robert Smith, M.D., at Central Mississippi Health Services, Inc. until his death. He and his wife Sandi were members of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Raymond, MS.
His survivors include wife, Sandi Oczkowicz Munden, of 44 years; daughter, Stacey Davis (Mark); son, Eric Munden (Amber); and four precious grandchildren, Abbie, Joseph, Brandon, and Anna Noel.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy “Bud” Munden and Margaret Elizabeth Bolin, and his two siblings, George Munden and JoAnn Munden Cook, all of Dallas, TX .
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 20, 2013 from 5-7 pm at Wright Ferguson in Clinton, MS. Funeral service will take place at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Clinton, MS at 10:00 am Friday, June 21, 2013 at with visitation an hour prior to. There will be graveside service at Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, MS at 2:30 PM for those who wish to attend.
