William Sheppard “Mike” Morgan, 80 passed away Tuesday May 25, 2010 at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 4:00pm today at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton, preceded by visitation at 3:00pm. Burial will follow in Clinton Cemetery.
Mr. Morgan was a graduate of Mississippi College and a veteran of the US Army, having served in the infantry during the Korean Conflict. He is a recepient of the Purple Heart. He retired after a long career with AT&T.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Joyce Morgan of Clinton; son, Mike Morgan (Tracy) of Clinton; grandchildren, Will Morgan, Mitzi Morgan, and Jerri Ann Morgan; and nephew, Edward Morgan of Chicago, IL.
