Beloved husband of the late Leona. Loving father of Deborah (Tom) Burke and Carol DeBacker. Dear grandfather of Thomas III (Lauren Currier) Burke, Alexander Burke, and Patrick Burke and great-grandfather of Aidan Burke.
Albert was a WWII Navy veteran and a lifetime member of the Belgian American Association. He worked in the family plastering business, Emil DeBacker and Sons, and various other roles in real estate and construction where Al built residential homes and apartments.
Visitation will take place Friday, March 2, 2018 at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield, Clinton Township, Michigan from 3-9pm with a 7pm Rosary service and Military Honors.
Funeral Mass Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 10am with 9:30am instate at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 44633 Utica, Utica, Michigan.
