Albert Joseph Latouf

Latouf, Albert J., (10/1/1915 – 6/12/2015) age 99 of Memphis, MI; formerly of Detroit and Windsor. Beloved husband of the late Catherine “Katie”. Loving son of the late Samuel and Bedelia. Wonderful father to Larry (Yvonne), June (Jim) Hotchkiss, Ron (Donna) and Carol. Loving grandfather of Lawrence (Lynne), Dawn (Bryan) Kacy, Jennifer, David, JJ (Rhonda), Kristy, Peter, Joe, Tom, Lisa, and Lori. Loving great-grandfather of Michelle, Kayla, Lawrence, David, Alyssa, Evan, Sawyer, Logan, Katelyn, and Katie. Dear brother of the late Anthony, the late Ed, the late Josephine, and Janet Jones.

Albert was a charter member of the Knights of Columbus council 8231 and a WWII veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force. He was also an usher, Delegate for the National Assoc. of Maronites. Albert loved God, his church, his wife Katie, and his children. He enjoyed traveling, picnics, golfing and winter sports. Albert loved Lebanon, Canada and had great pride in his Lebanese heritage and his Maronite Catholic Faith.

Visitation will be at the Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd. Clinton Township, MI on Tuesday, June 16th from 3-8pm with a rosary at 7pm. Funeral Mass, celebrated by Msgr. Badawi of St. Sharbel Maronite Church, will take place on Wednesday, June 17th at 11am, lay in state at 10:30am at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 12509 19 Mile Rd. Sterling Heights, Mi 48313. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Seasons Hospice or the Alzheimer Foundation.
