Anthony A. Scrivo

Anthony A. 'Tony' Scrivo, age 91 of St. Clair Shores, passed away June 2, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Betty-Jean for 69 years. Loving father of Jeanne (the late Gerald) Burns, Ralph (Kaye), the late Anthony P., the late Daniel (Donna), Carolynn (Bernard) Sloan and Alison (the late Thomas) Furtaw. Proud grandfather of 12 and great-grandfather of 9 with 1 on the way. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Raphael and Dora and his siblings Ralph, Angela, Phyllis, Madeline and Vincent.

Tony worked hard as a contractor, until the age of 83, and held a builders and real estate license. He was a member of the VFW in St. Clair Shores and a faithful parishioner of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, especially his dear family.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. A memorial luncheon will immediately follow in the church social hall.
