Antigone Perry

Antigone “Tig" Perry, age 94, of Sterling Heights Michigan passed away suddenly on January 5, 2024. Widow to the late Andrew Perry. Loving mother to Steven (Mary) Perry and Andrea (Thomas) Schwartzenberger. Dear Yiayia to Anthony Perry, Alison (Tony) Muka, Andrew (Laura) Schwartzenberger, Lauren Perry and Dana (Emanuel) Pelean. Beloved Great grandmother, affectionately called “ProPro”, to Evan, Logan, Elliott, Alexia, Ezra, Eloise, Jade and Roman. Devoted sister to Theodora “Teddi” (the late John) Siclovan and George (the late Nancy) Stefanou. Cherished daughter of the late Vasilios and Despina Stefanou.

Affectionately called Aunt Tig and adored by her many nieces and nephews. Tig worked for the Macomb Intermediate School District until her retirement in 1999 where she made many lifelong friends. She had a fierce love for family and a passion for travel. One of her greatest joys was sitting by the water, walking the beach and putting her feet in the sand.

Her humor, quick wit, generous spirit and brilliant smile will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

A memorial gathering for Antigone will be held Monday, January 22, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Rd, Clinton Township, Michigan 48038, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM.
