Arnold “Arnie” Konen, age 82, born August 23, 1931, passed away February 15, 2014.

Loving Husband to Catherine (nee Wouters) Konen for 59 ½ years. Father to Lorraine (Edward) Jonas, Daniel (Bridgett) Konen, Lawrence Konen, Theresa (Kevin) Ziskie, Arlene (James) Hislop, Norbert Konen and the late Stephen Konen. Grandfather to 11. Great-grandfather to 4. Brother to Dolores Kehrig and Rita (Richard) Vuylsteke.

Arnold retired from General Motors, was a member of the Knights of Columbus, an avid outdoorsman, and loved spending time with his family. He was a member at Our Lady Queen of All Saints and active in the 50/50 Club, Men’s Club and as an Usher.

Visitation Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 3pm to 9pm with a Rosary at 6:30pm at Kaul Funeral Home 35201 Garfield, Clinton Twp., MI. Funeral Mass will take place Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 10am with an Instate at 9:30am at Our Lady Queen of All Saints 31740 Cyril, Fraser, MI.

To The Konen Family, Arnie was a special Man, he loved to joke and have a good time he was great friends with my parents Jim and Anne Schoenherr they played cards once a month for years I remember the pool party's that we used to go to one of the card club members had a pool in there yard it was so much fun. Arnie R. I. P u will be missed!!!!
