Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Owen Morgan, and her son, Keith Morgan.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Robert Morgan; Pamela Bondi and her husband, Joseph, and their daughters, Allison and Morgan; Paul Morgan; and Jeffrey Morgan, his wife, Sue, and their son, Gavin.
Born and raised in Detroit, Barbara began her career at the Federal Reserve Bank's Detroit Branch, commuting downtown by bus as a young woman. One of her favorite memories was seeing Elvis Presley perform at the Fox Theatre as a teenager, a story she enjoyed sharing throughout her life.
After marrying and starting a family, Barbara devoted herself to raising her children and creating a loving home. She was known for her quick wit, warm sense of humor, and her ability to make people laugh. In later years, she found happiness in life's simple pleasures—playing games on her phone, watching classic game shows, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Barbara's greatest joy in life was her family. The love she gave so freely will continue to live on in each of them, and the memories she leaves behind will be cherished always.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A Memorial Gathering will take place on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road in Clinton Township, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a funeral service at 6:00 pm.
