Betty Michalski

September 18, 2019

I never met Benjamin. I met Crystal Russo through facebook and saw her post and how devastated she was and still is. Words can not express how everyone feels on the loss of Benjamin's life. I am so sorry for his family and friends and want to send my deepest sympathy on this tragic occasion. Benjamin you are loved by many. Fly high our Angel. May I please send the baby a gift? I wasnt able to donate in time. Please. It will make me happy. My facebook is Betty Michalski. Please pm me so I know what to get her. It's the least I can do for Crystal and to pay my respects to the family. I do hospice and elderly care so I know what it's like to lose someone . Not in such a tragic way but i do lose alot of clients and patients unfortunately. God only takes the best is what I'm told. Again I'm truly sorry. May god bless that sweet girl of his. She's beautiful. Keep me posted on what to send her and where please. Please dont say no. Itll be my pleasure.

I dated Ben back in high school. Even though it was only for a short period of time, he was the nicest, sweetest and understandable guy ever. Its crazy to hear that he’s gone. I haven’t seen or heard from him for the past 12 years, but to scroll down on my feed and see his news, I’m very shock and sad. My condolences to the family.

Im Jacob Randall, an old friend of Bens from Little Elementary I lived a few houses down from him. I dont have any really special memories it seems like it was so long ago, but that doesnt make this any less upsetting.
We used to walk to school together almost every day, I would eat breakfast at your house all the time. We would play in the field on the corner of Jewett and Lorraine. We would trade pokemon cards. I remember you had a crazy Blastizard card and nobody belived you but I actually saw it.
We drifted apart as we got older but I still saw you a lot throughout highschool with my sister Jennifer.
Im sorry this happened to you Ben, youd didnt deserve this and nobody does. I'll keep you in my mind forever man. I wish we would have ran into each other somehow before all this, it would have been cool to see you after all these years instead of have to read all these stories.

Benjamin,
It all happen on Jewett where we grew up. Running up and down the street back and forth from my house to your house. All of us going trick-or-treating together, playing football in the street till the street lights came on and we all had to race home. Oh my remember that creepy old neighbor I had that lived between us and we use to play kickball in his front yard and you blasted out his front window yet your tall ass jumped his fence and ran home. I get flash backs of me hiding in your room and crying to go home when we all had sleepovers and then you guys walking me home saying it’s okay June bug we will try next weekend lol well next weekend would come and you guys would walk me back home. We’ve celebrated So many things together there’s so many memories. I loved your sense of humor , you always had a way to make a room laugh. As you got older your sense of humor got more intense but we all know it’s just Ben being Ben. I honestly don’t have the right words to say or even how to say what I want but I love you like a brother

Where to even begin.. Ben was my big Little brother. So many memories flood my mind most inappropriate as that was his humor. So many inside jokes...You're a phony..Look at the trunk on that tree..the baby..towers. The night at Winners😂 Ben was intelligent, witty, sarcastic, and a smartass, you could always count on Ben to make a comment that would make others gasp (he did not filter his thoughts) then he would tip his head, shrug his shoulders and smirk right before his laugh filled the room. He was a great friend and brother, he would ask for advice, I would give it knowing very well he wouldnt listen to it at all. If I asked for advice I knew his answer was legit, Ben was the most genuine person I know. A fun, funny, kinda crazy and "weird" uncle to Nathaniel, Cameron and Zoey. (Their words) He will be missed everyday but his memory and love for his family and friends especially his daughter will live on. Don't tell Hannah too many of the crazy things we've done. I miss you, I love you, I will see you again.

I remember when I started dating Melanie and thinking man she has a big family. She told me Ben was the same age I was and I thought awesome I hope he's cool. Turns out he was way beyond that and we did alot of the same stuff. He was the best uncle to all of my kids and the absloute best father anyone cold ever be. Beyond the family aspect of everything he was an amazing friend he became one of my best. We hung out together, we've worked together, we even lived together, and I will never forget any of it and will always cherish the time. He was a very genuine, intelligent and witty person and it is an honor to be able to call him my brother. Rest easy man I love you. Until we meet again...

Tomorrow we lay a wonderful man and impeccable father to rest. Man do I already miss the inside jokes and incredible kindness and support from Ben. I know if he was here he'd tell me to man up and tell someone a funny story about our incredible community trailer park kids. Dont worry I won't be a dick.lol(not disrespectful it was a daily quote from Ben) We've got you Ben. We'll all do everything in our power to support your family and Charlotte. Fly high and I'll see you on the other side.

I met Ben after my husband and he became friends. Joey and Ben worked together and Joey told me I had to come meet/hang out with him and a few friends, Ben included. They kept hanging out and Ben started coming over our place alot and he would bring his daughter Charlotte, I even got to babysit Charlotte on random Saturdays when he and Joey had to work. There's alot of laugh out loud, funny memories I can think of and I'm so happy I can reflect on but I think the memory that will always stand out from the rest is how he was the absolute greatest dad and loved his little girl more than anything. I know he will still always be with his Char-lotte.
Ben was one of a kind, and will be truly missed by so many.

I only knew Ben for about 3 years but it seemed like we new each other since preschool. The memory that sticks the most is how we met. We both were working at king koil and decided to hangout with some of our mutaul friends. Instantly we connected on a comedic level, ever since we kept hanging out and talking more at work. He would send me "lean on me" by bill withers when ever I was feeling down, or a happy disney song. He is one of the few people who I could never get or be mad at. He truly was a great person in everyway.

I’m Ben’s grandmother. I always looked forward to summer time when all the family would come to visit. It was always a packed house but we made the best of it! I always enjoyed my time with Ben, he was such a Nut! He kept me and everyone around him laughing!
One summer he was feeling extra lazy. I guess being a teenager is tough business.
I walked through the dining room and he was laying down on a long bench alongside the wall -
His coke was next to him on the floor.
Sitting up to take a drink of would have been too much of an effort, so he connected 5 or 6 straws together so that he didn’t have to move! I remember hearing the slurp! I laughed so hard! And he was so proud of himself! I know it sounds silly, but it’s the funny stuff that stays with you.
Ben will always be with me -
