Beverly Ann Bonnis

Beverly was born to parents Stephen and Virginia Bonnis, on October 9, 1952, in Eastpointe, Michigan, where she was raised and attended school. Throughout her life, Beverly worked a variety of jobs, including positions as an accountant for a hospital and a plumbing company, and most recently at a local grocery store. She retired approximately two years ago so that she could devote her time to caring for her sister, Karen, during her final illness, as well as Karen’s beloved dog, Charlie.

Beverly was a genuinely loving and kind person who found fulfillment in doing things for others. She was always willing to lend a hand, help someone in need, or simply make another person feel comfortable and cared for. Down-to-earth and humble, Beverly never sought recognition for the kindness she showed so freely. Her caring nature, gentle spirit, and genuine concern for others touched the lives of those who knew her. She was also a faithful member of her church.

Beverly will be dearly missed by her close friend and former spouse, Shawn Murtada, as well as all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Steven Bonnis and Karen Herman, and is now reunited with those she loved.

Funeral services for Beverly will be private.
