Brian Ashley Bukantis

Brian Ashley Bukantis, age 73, of Fraser, rode off into the Michigan sunset to the Rainbow Bridge, Friday, February 17, 2023. He was born November 5, 1949 to the late Joseph & Neva (Ashley) Bukantis. Brian was the publisher of wrestling magazines Stranglehold and Body Press Magazine, along with the nationally distributed record collecting magazine, Goldmine. He loved camping, and was a member of the Tin-can RV Club. He also owned and enjoyed his Green VW Bus. Brian was an avid Red Wings Hockey fan, enjoyed professional wrestling and the music of Frank Zappa and Bonzo Dog Band. Brian was an incredible and supportive Husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to all. Brian married the love of his life, Betty and she preceded him in death. He is survived by his children, Dale (Janet), Dawn (Butch), Douglas, Brian II (Jacqueline); his grandchildren, Anthony, Courtney, David, Ashley; great-grandchildren; Neveah, Brendan, Gracie; his siblings Toni, Michael, Doug, his beloved family dogs, Winnie, Wesley, Mattie, Timber, and Bello. He was preceded in death by children Debbie, & David, along with his brother Dennis. A visitation for Brian will be held Friday, February 24, 2023 from 2PM until 8PM at Kaul Funeral Home. A visitation will occur Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 10 AM until 11AM a Funeral Service at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035.
