Carole Jane Scharnweber, age 72, passed away October 15, 2018. Carole loved gardening and had the best flower garden in the neighborhood. She was very active with her church groups at First Presbyterian Church of Mt. Clemens and was a committed Girl Scouts volunteer for over 25 years. Carole was a teacher, administrator, and had a lifelong passion for educating children. Beloved wife of David for 47 years. Loving mother of Lisa (Scott) Sorbie and Diane (John) Koch. Proud grandmother of Katherine, Lauren, Hudson and Ashlyn. Dearest sister of Robert (Judy) Baiers. Carole is predeceased by her brother, John Baiers and her parents, Arnold and Virginia Baiers. Visitation Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 2pm until 4pm and from 6pm until 8pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Township. In state Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 10am until time of memorial service at 11am at First Presbyterian Church, 168 Cass Ave, Mt. Clemens.
