Carolyn K. Gamalski

Carolyn Kay Gamalski (nee Karoly), RN, BSN, age 73 of Clinton Township, passed away on October 23, 2012. Loving wife of the late Donald A. Gamalski. Survived by children Martin, Joanna (Derek), Mark (Maxine), Michael (Karen), and the late Joel; grandchildren Angela, Elaine and Adam. Dear sister of RoseMary Roy, and Kathleen (Charles) Nye. Sister-in-law to Thomas (Nancy) Gamalski. Many nieces, nephews and friends. Graduated from Dominican High School in 1957 and Providence Hospital School of Nursing in 1960. Earned a BSN in 1987 from U of D Mercy. Active in the nursing profession for 36 years. Employed as an occupational nurse in the Detroit metro area and then as a substance abuse counselor in Harrison Township. Carolyn was a fun loving, compassionate and giving person to all. She will be dearly missed and not forgotten. Visitation will be Friday 2-8:30 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes, Clinton Township, MI 48038 and Saturday 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass 9:30 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Community, 40501 Hayes, Sterling Heights, MI 48313. Memorials to Gleaner's Food Bank would be appreciated.
