Charles Gordon Cheap

Charles Gordon Cheap, age 88, of Clinton Twp., passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Nora; adored father of Cathleen Duford and Linda Paschall; dear grandfather of Jami and Tyler Duford, Lucas, Riley, and Sydney Paschall; proud great-grandfather of Jace Keene; brother of the late Arthur Cheap.

Charles was born on May 16,1929 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Lewis and Lucille Cheap. He proudly served his country with the US Marine Corp. during the Korean War from 1950 to 1953. After his retirement from Hobart Service Corporation, he proudly was an active member of the American Legion, including the Honors Society American Legion 40/8, the Macomb County Marine Corp. Detachment League, the Disabled American Veterans- including serving as both a state and county Commander.

The family will greet friends on Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm with a 7:00pm scripture and military service at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Twp. Interment with military honors at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI, on Monday, October 23 at Noon.
