Charlotte "Char" Kay Galant

Char loved owls which is where she got her nickname "Hoot." She was a member of the Warren Kiwanis, and Interfaith Caregivers. Char enjoyed sewing and creating matching outfits for her children in their youth. She retired from and was the past president and former CEO of Tek-Ni-Kal Credit Union. Above all she adored her family and will be greatly missed.

Char is survived by her children, Ray, Angela (the late Robert), Tatia; her grandchildren, Kyle, Tara, Brandy, Heather; 9 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; her siblings, Clarence "Pete", Lester, Darlene, Betty, Lillian "PeeWee"; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred; her siblings, Shirley, Lawrence, Leland, Sharon, Jerry, Terry, Ruth; her furbabies, Patches, Peanut, and Cali.

Visitation will be held on July 15, 2026, from 10:30 am until a Funeral Service at 12:30 pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035. Burial will be a Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township, Michigan.
