Cheri loved being with her family, often hosting and cooking up delicious meals to draw in her loved ones from far and wide. She dedicated many years of her life to being an involved member of St. Ronald’s Church, using her exemplary sewing skills to decorate the Nave and Sanctuary throughout the year, handing out communion during Mass, and being a longtime member of the Altar Sodality group. She was an avid boater who loved to share the deck and soak up the rays on a sunny day. Cheri was also a knowledgeable and passionate sports fan, cheering on her favorite teams and sharing her enthusiasm with her family.
Cheri is survived by her husband of 58 years, Nick; her sons: Nick (Cathy) and Mike (Renee) Stanziola; her sister, Kim (Mark) Wilson; her beloved grandchildren: Nicholas, Marybeth, Darcy, Nathan, Paige, Allison (Andy), Collin, and Ben; and many treasured family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Lynn (Bob) Rajter, and brother, Bob Moriarty.
Visitation Monday, November 24, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. scripture service at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Road, Clinton Township. Instate Tuesday, November 25, from 10:00 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Ronald Catholic Church, 17701 15 Mile Road, Clinton Township. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, 18201 Clinton River Road, Clinton Township following the services.
