I loved your Mother.

I went to PSJ high school with your parents
and stayed  friends with Mary Dunn, Joe Amato, and Mike Crowley.   I married Kevin in 1970 when he was still in the Navy.  After 7 years in the Navy and 2 years finishing his degree, we moved to Aurora, Il.  
Your parents became close friends with Mary, Joe, and Mike after I moved away, 

My Godlewski family stayed in Michigan and lives in the eastern suburbs.
When I would visit my family I would try to see old friends too.  I saw them at reunions and group get togethers.  
I came for your Dad’s funeral.  
Through Mary I was part of the Zoom calls with Carol King, Annmarie, Sue, Joanne, and your Mother.  We all worried about her.

I remember your Mother as a bubbly happy person .  Your Dad had the best smile.

Thank you for posting all the photos.  I loved the ones with both your parents.

I am sorry I couldn’t come for the funeral.  With the holidays and weather, it was too difficult for me to drive myself.

My name is Teresa Allen. I grew up with Chris living next door me. Chris, my sister, Marianne, and Bette Boyda we're a threesome. I always remember Chris as a happy smiley person. And I know the three of them remained close into adulthood. I am sending my deepest condolences to her friends and family for their great loss.

We have shared so many memories growing up together with sleep overs, babysitting.  In our teens  boys, dances.  We were always together.  As we grew with our families we grew apart but the wonderful memories will always be a part of me. You’ll always be in my heart. Love you Cuz,

I worked with Chris at Macomb Community College for many years. She was a bright light to the staff and students. She always had a smile on her face which was infectious - you couldn't help but smile when she was smiling!
We worked in an office that had 3 Christine's. She was always Chris. I had to change my name to just initials, so we knew who was being addressed!
As life does, changes and time create a void in friendships, but never with Chris - she was always ready to talk and laugh, just as if she saw you the day before!
May God's healing light envelop the families to ease the pain of losing such a wonderful person.
