David James Brocco, age 73, went home to the Lord October 24th, 2018. He was born December 30th, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan to James J. Brocco (who was killed in WWII prior to David's birth) and The late Betty J. Donnelly. He is also pre-deceased by the only father he knew, John S. Donnelly.
In his younger years, David was an all-around athlete. He played on softball teams & bowled with the Sterling Stallions. He was an avid hunter & fisherman and shared that love with his sons. He also loved to play cards especially Euchre. But most of all, David Loved his family.He attended Walsh College and was the first member of his family to earn a Bachelor's degree.
After 31 years of employment, David retired from Ford Motor Company. He attended Faith Lutheran Church and he was a member of the Elks Club.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Georganna (Weitz) Brocco; sons, Christopher (Jana) Brocco and Andrew (Stephanie) Brocco; granddaughters Bailey and Sage and siblings, Lori (Donnelly) Romanetti and James Donnelly.
Visitation for David will be Saturday, October 27th, from 4:30-8pm and Sunday, October 28th from 4-8pm at Kaul Funeral Home 35201 Garfield Road, Clinton Township, MI 48035. A funeral service will be held Monday October 29th at 10:00 am at Kaul Funeral Home 35201 Garfield Road, Clinton Township, MI 48035. Entombment at Cadillac Memorial Gardens to follow.
