Debbie Duchene

Debbie Duchene, age 63, passed into eternal life August 19, 2016. She is the beloved wife of Dennis Duchene; loving mother of the late Doreen Duchene, Dale (DeAnna) Duchene, Dawn (Greg) Guzik, Dianna (Gregg) Kociemba, and Dennis (Ann) Duchene II; devoted grandmother of Dayna, Jere, James, Jacob, Jose, Brenda, Gregory, Gregg, Kyleigh, and Victoria; cherished daughter of the late John and Mary Johnson; and the dear sister of the late Robert Massey, Sharon Kilroy, the late Keith Massey, Linda (John) Smith, Gary (Robin) Massey, and the late Lisa Johnson-Hays.

Debbie led a life full of love for others with an inner strength that inspired all who knew her. Her faith in Jesus Christ gave her peace and confidence as she endured both physical and emotional trials. Her testimony to God's work in her life offers those who had the blessing of knowing her a glimpse of faith in action in the midst true difficulty. Debbie's passion for nature and photography draws people together and points them to God's majestic creativity in the world around them. She will continue to touch the lives of all she knew through her pictures, her kind words, and the memory of her steady, unfailing love and her commitment to Jesus.

Visitation Monday, August 29, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, August 30, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield, Clinton Township. A Funeral Service will be held for her on Wednesday, August 31, starting at 12:00 p.m. with visiting beforehand at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
