Deborah A. Putney passed away on June 20, 2024, at the age of 71. She was the loving mother of Dawn Bissett and Andrea Putney, and a cherished grandmother of Samantha Bissett and Jonathon Bissett. Deborah was a dear sister to Robert (Judi) Wallace and Richard (Kathy) Wallace.
Deborah had a vibrant spirit and a love for life that was evident in her many passions. She enjoyed music and dancing, relished trips to casinos, and appreciated a good drink. Her love for gardening brought beauty to her home, and she treasured family vacations to Myrtle Beach and Florida. In her younger years, she found joy in her Wednesday night bowling league with great friends.
One of Deborah’s guilty pleasures was ordering from QVC, and she had a wonderful eye for detail, making her extraordinary at decorating her home. Her keen sense of style and ability to create a warm, inviting atmosphere were admired by all who visited. Deborah’s warmth, laughter, and love for her family will be deeply missed.
A visitation for Deborah will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road in Clinton Township. A sharing of memories will take place at 7:00 pm on Tuesday.
