Dolores was born on August 5, 1934, in Detroit, Michigan, to Nick and Florence Di Salvio. She was raised in Detroit, where she attended a Catholic high school. In 1967, she moved to St. Clair Shores before eventually making her home in Roseville.
Dolores worked for approximately 15 years as a factory worker manufacturing automotive seatbelts. However, her most important role was always that of a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. She was first married to Ralph Hintz, who preceded her in death, and later married Ernest Brandt, who also preceded her in death.
Independent by nature, Dolores enjoyed spending time with friends, socializing, and shopping. Her Catholic faith remained a cornerstone of her life, providing a lasting foundation throughout the years.
Dolores will be lovingly remembered by her son, Tom Hintz. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ralph Hintz; her husband, Ernest Brandt; and her daughter-in-law, Connie Hintz.
Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, November 16, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, with a memorial service at 6:00 PM, at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, Michigan 48038.
