Donald Anthony Gamalski, age 81, of Clinton Township, passed away on August 4, 2012. Employed for many years at family business, Gamalski Hardware in Detroit, Mich. Also employed at Anderson Door, Motor City Door and Classic Window and Door. He was a member of the St. Mary Orchard Lake Alumni Association. Veteran of the United States Coast Guard during the Korean War. Survived by his loving wife, Carolyn (nee Karoly); children, Mark (Maxine), Michael (Karen), Martin and Joanna (Derek); grandchildren, Angela, Elaine and Adam; siblings, Thomas Gamalski. Predeceased by parents, John Jacob Gamalski and Anna Wilkowski; siblings, Evelyn, Richard, Delores, John, Joseph and Gerald. Funeral Mass 9:30 a.m. with instate at 9 a.m., Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 40501 Hayes, Sterling Heights. Visitation Monday, 2-8 p.m. at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes, Clinton Township, MI 48038.
