Donna L. Crawford

Donna Louise Crawford, 81, passed away Oct. 24, 2016 at Cristwood Nursing Center in Shoreline, Washington. She was born Oct. 13, 1935 in Huntington, West Virginia, the daughter of Cecil and Julia Brooks. She spent most of her life in Michigan. In 1957 she married Fred Crawford; he preceded her in death in 1993. Her brother, Raymond (Eileen) Brooks also preceded her in death July, 2016. She is survived by her brother, David (MaryAnn) Brooks of Everett, Washington. She is survived by dear nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

Donna worked in education all her life: teaching elementary school in the Van Dyke School system, developing and working in the elementary internship program at Michigan State University, teaching overseas at Morrison Christian Academy in Taiwan, and developing and consulting with SHARE Education Services in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Serving her Savior was her primary focus as she invested in many people during her lifetime.

Visitation will be Thursday, 2:30 – 8 p.m. at the Kaul Funeral Home in Clinton Twp., MI. In state Friday 10:00 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, Roseville, MI until her funeral service at 11:00 AM.
