Doris Jean Burgess age 75, passed away October 6, 2011 in Mount Clemens, MI. She was born May 17, 1936 in Highland, Kentucky. She was a homemaker and loved fishing. She was the beloved wife of the late Leon. She is survived by her children Diane (John) Stewart, Roy, Richard (Sandy), Debra (Bruno) Tomaszewski, Linda, Rhonda (David) Stewart, Kenneth (Patricia), Valerie (Darin) Zohr, and Timothy; 22 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; siblings Dr. Orville (Jeanette) Burton Jr., and Betty Frasier. She was predeceased by her parents Orville and Gladys Burton; daughter-in-law Dawn Burgess. Visitation will be Saturday 5-8:00PM, Sunday 2-8:00PM, with a funeral service Monday at 11:00AM at Resurrection Funeral Home 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038. Burial will be at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery.
