

Doyle Stephens, a loving husband, father, grandfather and skilled handyman, passed away on February 2, 2024 at the age of 93. He was known for his passion for woodworking, bowling, and genealogy. Doyle found solace in nature, particularly at Lily Lake in Harrison, Michigan, where he spent many peaceful mornings sipping coffee and watching the water. His love for adventure took him to many national parks in the United States, including Death Valley, Yellowstone, Glacier National Park, and Yosemite. Doyle shared 54 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Marilyn. Their love story began on a blind date and blossomed into a lifetime of cherished memories. Doyle will be remembered for his kind heart, adventurous spirit, and dedication to his family and country.
Doyle was the loving husband of the late Marilyn. The beloved father of John (Lori) Stephens, Dianne Brewer, Donald Stephens, Sharon Stephens, and April Stephens. He was the cherished grandfather of Shannon (Rick) Piornack, Breanna (Steve) Gorecki, Tonya (Evan) Rzeppa, Ashley Stephens, and Trisha (James) Hadel. He was the caring great grandfather of Rylee, Macee, Charlee, Brody, Ava, Christian, Easton, and Tanner. He was the dear brother of Geraldine Lee. He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and unforgettable experiences. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
