Edna Mae Musser, born on October 20, 1953, passed away peacefully with family by her side on October 29, 2025, at the age of 72. She was born in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma to the late Luke and Dorothy (Snook) Strauser. In her early years they moved to Middleburg, Pennsylvania, where she spent most of her life.
She graduated from Middleburg High School where soon after, she met her beloved husband of 50 years, Fred Musser.
Together they have two daughters. She is the loving mother of Candi (Greg) Nicholson and Monica Musser.
As a homemaker, she enjoyed going fishing with Fred and then playing Bingo in later years. She was a good cook and made a delicious Chicken Pot Pie.
As a breast cancer survivor, she contributed to the American Breast Cancer Foundation. She was also a member of the VFW Post 5640 in Middleburg and the Moose Lodge 1229 in Middleburg.
Edna loved to spend time with her family at gatherings and reunions. But when she was home, Oscar dog could be found snuggling next to her on her chair.
She cherished time spent with her grandkids, they brought her immense joy. She loved being "Mammaw" to Damian Nicholson, Ashley Nicholson, Raquel Jackson and Heather Ostrander, who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.
Edna was the oldest of ten siblings, the late Bruce "Butch" Strauser, and is survived by Odessa (the late Kenneth) Keister of Middleburg, Dorothea (Joseph) Boyle of Middleburg, Esther (Richard) Dorman of Mifflinburg, Cynthia (Steven) Grove of Mifflinburg, Linda (the late Michael) Miller, of Middleburg, Christine (William) Hackenburg of Middleburg, Wendy (the late Albert) Dill of Middleburg, Matthew (Tammy) Strauser of Virginia; her sisters-in-law, Marian (the late Cliff) Folk, Arlene (the late Shirky) Shirk, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Friends and family are invited to attend a public graveside service on Saturday, November 29th at 12:30pm at Glendale Cemetery, 34 Cemetery Rd, in Middleburg, PA.
Immediately following the service, the family welcomes all who knew Edna to join them for a luncheon at the VFW, 1555 Paxtonville Rd, Middleburg, PA, to continue sharing memories.
