So sorry to hear of the passing of my godson, Ed.  My thoughts and prayers are with you Donna, and all the kids.  Watching Ed grow up was always entertaining!  I'm sure he'll be the life of the party in heaven as well!  May God bless you and watch over you in this sad time.

Although I never really got to know the "adult Ed", I will never forget all the fun we would have as kids growing up in Detroit and Mt. Clemens.  Dad and Uncle Bill would sit around and drink and talk guns and hunting, mom and Aunt Donna would sit around and complain about dad and Uncle Bill, and all us kids would just be having a blast... coaxing Ed to eat a spider or something stupid like that!  Good times growing up, you will be remembered fondly, Ed.  My deepest condolences to all my cousins and my favorite godmother.

It’s sad god called you home watch over my brother Dennis please .

Special memories through the years with our friends the Harts.  We had many sleep overs at our home with all of our children total of 10.   We loved every minute of  it and Ed was always in the kitchen helping with the cleanup and some special bonding time that I won't forget.  The guy with a big heart and very sweet way about him.  
Ed you will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Our fathers were best friends. Our families used to hang, camp, and go to the DSC for picnics, etc. So many memories of years gone past of the Hart/Russell gangs. I am so sad to learn of Ed's passing. May he RIP. Give our Dads big hugs and kisses up in Heaven for me and send everyone my love. My prayers are with all of Ed's family. God Bless. Ed and I only knew each other for a year but with the conversations and the laughs we shared, one would think that we had a friendship which had developed over the course of several years. 

Ed was very caring, funny, humble and nurturing. In Ed’s own words, “We are friends to the end buddy. Whatever you need, I got you!” I can honestly say that no truer words were ever spoken. 

You are already truly missed my friend.  My deepest condolences to the Hart family. 

Eddie was very lucky always winning the 50-50 at Gratiot Pub a good friend to many with a big heart  he will be truly missed

So very sorry he will truly be missed he had a wonderful heart a huge heart and his laughter and voice could be heard throughout the crowd he loved being around people he was a great friend to the Gratiot Pub cooking in always helping however he could he will truly be missed.
