Edwin Wallace Bacon

January 25, 1942April 16, 2021

Edwin Wallace Bacon peacefully slipped away at 3:09am on April 16, 2021 after a tough battle with Parkinson’s Disease. The world is a better pace because of him; he could light up a room. He was the life of the party, a loving husband and father, and a true friend. Thank you to the cummuntiy, neighbors, family and friends that surrounded the family with years of love, memories and reasons to celebrate. He loved so many of you.

Memorial details to follow this summer. It will be a celebration of life, and a bit of a party, because he would not want anyone to mourn his passing but to celebrate life with a beer (Coors preferably) and friends.

Enjoy the company of the ones you love, beause time is a gift.

I had the honor to work with Ed for many years in the Logistics group planning Abrams Vehicle modifications for which Ed would oversee the execution as a team lead. Ed was great to work with as we both liked to keep things lighthearted and we enjoyed many laughs together while performing our work. Ed was extremely dedicated to his work as he knew from his service in the U.S. Army how important it was that the Soldiers we supported to have the best vehicle we could provide. I fondly remember the times when we gathered to play poker and the countless laughs we had as Ed always made a gathering much more fun!

My deepest sympathy to Ed's family - RIP My Friend!
